@dave I‘m having trouble adding our podcast feed (it‘s provided by Anchor) on – once I enter the URL in the modal, it quickly disappears and I can only see a message popping up, but it immediately disappears and the page reloads.
Feed URL is

· · Web · 1 · 0 · 0

@einundzwanzig @dave there are two podcasts by this name listed in the index. The one you are trying is not an original anchor feed. Why are you using a duplicate?

In order for to work, you need to use the original feed URL as it contains an owner email address that is used for verification. Anchor uses their own email address that forwards to whatever you have on file with them.

@einundzwanzig @dave I double checked and each feed has it's own email address for the owner. Should work if you use the correct combination

@adam @dave i‘ve added our own feed.xml because I didn‘t want this to go through Anchor. I‘m basically reusing their feed and changed the email address. The sign up for worked, but adding that feed does not.
I will remove the original Anchor feed on and see if this helps.

@adam @dave can‘t remove the duplicate feed from the index as far as I can see. Not sure why it doesn‘t work with the own feed, the Anchor one passes validation, but I didn‘t receive the confirmation email there …

@einundzwanzig @adam I'm looking at this right now. I'm going to reset everything for you. Stand by...

@einundzwanzig @adam Ok, you should be able to go back and register this feed now:

...using the email address. I cleaned up the feed listing for you since it was a mess trying to bounce one url to another. It's now just a single listing with anchor attached as a secondary url and the custom url as the primary. This way you keep the itunes id association.

@dave thanks! Reregistering worked :) the dashboard screen looks like before and I can‘t see the „value block“, is this as expected?

@einundzwanzig The value block is something you add to your feed by setting up a new lightning node or entering one you already own. If you feel out of your depth you can go to and it goes over how things are set up.

@dave ah, thanks! Now I got it. Added my node and will ask the other members to do that as well. Thanks for the clarification, now I see the value block!

@dave there isn‘t an option to add multiple nodes and define the splits yet, correct? However, as we now control the feed ourselves I can add the value blocks directly I think :)

@dave Added the value block directly now so that all of us and the podcast index are included.

Is it planned to show this info on the website? Might be good infomration for listeners and also good for debugging. Would like to help making this happen :)
