@js interesting that Google CDN is not on the list…

We are moving away from using Google CDN, and come January will be launching a few storage servers to be our preferred delivery option using varnish cache server and Google cloud storage.

It will cost us $249 per month. But considering my Google network bill is approaching $170 for the month it will be a good investment long term.

@russell it's on there at #12, but your point is still good

guessing they don't have as many steak dinners (ie enterprise accounts with negotiated bw rates) with large hosts that the other cdns do

@js Yeah, I guess. I have tried to talk to their support team to see what can be done about the costs, as my accountant and I did the math, and it's just not "startup-friendly."

I'm lucky that I understand the technology side of it and can make quick changes, but it's like playing whack-a-mole every time we see a spike that really shouldn't be there, based on all our caching rules.
