Castopod v1.0.0-alpha.67 is out! 🚀
Minor correction: allow cross origin requests on episode comments 🔀
I have updated my wordpress plugin that adds the podcasting 2.0 namespace to powerpress feeds. You can now add the value block and get bitcoin streamed to you https://github.com/Lehmancreations/Podcast-Namespace-Wordpress-Plugin/releases/tag/v1.5
From what I understand the comments are in a MySQL database table on the Wordpress host's server.
A podcast app would then just have to access that database and can implement the UI for comments how they like.
Castopod v1.0.0-alpha.62 is out! 🚀
Also, I can't connect to it on podcasterwallet. It somehow got removed from my account. I tried re-adding it but I get the following error, "Error validating. Please contact support"
I'm trying to move to LNPay and it seemed to work on two of my podcasts. But I borked this one somehow.
A good read on the lightning network from advanced wallet developers Breeze.
I HIGHLY recommend podfriend, which doesn't (yet) have mobile native apps, but works great in a chromium-based browser on mobile and also has Mac and Windows native apps. Audio speed is baked in too (although I am a 1.0 kinda listener but I get it)!
Big Podcasting 2.0 participant and @martin is always interested in user feedback.
Hello. I’m here as a listener of NoAgenda. I find the podcasting 2.0. Idea awesome. I love free speech and want to learn how to begin my own podcast and see if I’m any good at it. Thanks to Adam for your recent show on THC speaking about this topic in a more technical way. I hope to learn and find my way into a new and interesting way to share a piece of myself. While hopefully bringing some value and smiles to others. Peace and Love
Good and exciting work from Libsyn - they've added the namespace for Podcasting 2.0 in all their feeds, so you can now hand-code tags into Libsyn feeds. @podnews
Libsyn has added in the namespace for Podcast Index and Google Podcasts by default in their feeds “in preparation on productisation”. This work now allows podcasters to hand-code Podcast Index tags into feeds at their own risk - “picture a big flashing neon proceed-with-caution light”, said Rob Walch in The Feed episode 185 (47’04").
I know enough about technology to seriously screw things up.
Intended for all stake holders of podcasting who are interested in improving the eco system
