It seems like Røde has adapted a weekly update cycle. Also they published a 'happy go lucky' developers video with Q&A's that might even be frequent, rather than the 'does the product do the thing we find in your marketing material' answer: 'that's a great question! and yes it does'. The rather long developers video was more honest that they received feedback on stability and the onboarding process, rather than new features. youtube.com/watch?v=QmTlP4Zd0r

Looks like Røde update their Rodecaster Pro II on a regular. Today updated to version 1.0.4. For the folks that are curious on tracking possible changes, bugfixes and improvements, check: update.rode.com/notes/rcp2/ @adam @bandrew @jamescridland If you're curious why, you might want to check out reddit.com/r/rode TL;DR: game streamers were in a hissy because 'made for streamers' is a wee bit different than 'made for game streamers', also: quality of firmware version 1.0.1 was a bit sloppy.

@dave As I listen to you diving into the deep of the standard minutia I sometimes get lost, because I can't 'see' it.

I'm not sure if you doodle while talking to visualise it for yourself, but such little impromptu drawings would definitely help.

Perhaps that might be an interesting camera POV for @adam too. No faces, but doodling-cams 😄 youtube.com/watch?v=sazyOtzwyK

I concur with your findings that there's overlap between publishing tracks and episodes. As you already talked about, one thing is not like the other, but they do share things. I had this breakdown in mind. With a generic 'media 2.0' standard, and specific specialisations of various specific media.
