Yea, it is weird. Maybe it is just nostalgia, or maybe the ads were more fun and less crap compared to today.
I don't mind ads if they're relevant and not too long, but what really frustrates me is how repetitive they can be. UK streaming services has to be the worst. A show can have 5 ad breaks in it, and every one plays the same ads in the same order!
I'll check out LindyBeige and see what ads I get on there
